At the Backup Client Login screen, select the name of the Backup Client Account that has been established for this computer at the Backup Server. Backup for Workgroups lists the names of the accounts that have been created at the Backup Server and these can be seen in the drop down list. If you do not see the name of your Backup Client Account, you may type in this field. Enter the corresponding password that was used for this account at the time of setup.
Once you have specified the name of the Backup Client Account and password that was established for this computer at the Backup Server, we recommend that you press the Verify Name and Password button to make sure you have correctly identified the Backup Client account details. If Backup for Workgroups reports an error, please re-enter your account name and password.
If you do not know the account name and password, then go to the computer running the Backup Server and go to the Clients Panel. The Clients Panel will show you the names of all the Backup Client Accounts. You can select the Backup Client Account and modify its password if needed. Then return to this computer and enter the matching Backup Client Account name and password and retry the Verify button.
