General Ordering Information:
- Backup for Workgroups is sold on a per-Client basis, so a Client License needs to be purchased for each
computer (server, desktop or laptop) you wish to backup.
- Software orders are placed on a per-installation basis and / or a per-customer basis.
A separate order must be placed for each installation; you may not combine orders for two (2) or more
installations
into a single order. Also, if a single customer has two (2) separate installations of Backup for Workgroups
(perhaps in 2 different locations), then two (2) separate orders should be placed - one for each installation /
location.
- There is no charge for the Data Repository software (the portion of Backup for Workgroups that collects the
backup data from the Client computers and stores it on the hard drive storage device.)
- Quantity discounts are available at the 5, 10, and 25 marks: the more Clients you purchase, the less
the price per Client! Quantity discounts also available for the Open File Add-On.
- The Client covers the backup of any Windows computer including: the OS, the Windows registry, system files,
installed application program files and any data files that are not locked or in-use at the time of the backup.
- The Open File Add-On expands backup coverage on Windows 2008 / 2003 / Vista / XP computers to include any files
that are open or in-use at the time of the backup including: Active Directory, Exchange Server, SQL,
Quickbooks (or any other accounting software package), and anything else.

How Backup for Workgroups Licensing Works:
When you make a purchase, you will receive a single License Number that supports the desired number of Clients,
which you can type into your Backup for Workgroups installation. If you would like to have more than a single
Backup for Workgroups installation, then you will need to place a separate order for each installation. The
quantity discount does not span across installations or orders.

If you are using the 30-day trial version, no re-installation (or system reboot) is necessary when you
purchase. When it comes times to purchase, simply type in your License Number and the 30-day time limit is
removed. All Client settings, configurations and backup data remain intact.
